I have just spent a wonderfully relaxing half term week in a forest hideaway in the Forest of Deane, so it seems apt today to be sharing some autumnal ATC's I have created using the newly released Erika's Maple stamp set from Visible Image.
These were super quick to do and used up some scraps of card that I had. I neglected to take step by steps, as they ran alongside another project I was working on but here's how I achieved them.
The background was stamped using the ink lifted from alcohol ink on Yupo paper from another project, lifted and stamped onto mixed media card. I also stamped some of the small leaves using Kaleidacolor ink, and used a water brush to drag the ink to colour them. I then inked the edge of the ATC's with distress ink and stamped and embossed the sentiments.
I had some alcohol ink on Yupo left, and as I wanted to create curled leaves to place on the top this was perfect to use. I stamped and heat embossed them, quickly and carefully as Yupo paper has a plastic like quality and will shrink and mis shape when heated ( perfect for this project but not ideal if you want to achieve a flat image!) . To add dimension I adhered with 3D glue gel.
Autumn is my favourite time of year , and this stamp set is just perfect for some seasonal creations.
