Today's share is a card using the some great nature based stamps from Visible Image . I don't know about you, but getting outside and feeling close to nature really helps lift my spirits, allows me time and space to reflect and gives me a real sense of inner peace. This card was made to reflect that.
I started with a background created by mopping up distress oxides. They make for the perfect stormy sky don't you think? So much texture- yummy!
When dry, I used my 6" gelli plate and the strobes stencil to create a sunburst effect, by using the plate as a stamp once I had brayered paint through it.
I used a die cut circle and sponged oxide inks on to create a sun, and stamped and heat embossed the Tree of Life stamp in the centre. The leaves were then coloured with watercolour pens.
I added a line of trees from the Into The Woods set, stamped in Versafine ink, darkened the edges to add focus to the centre, then with 3D glue gel mounted the sun and sentiment to finish.
