Christmas Chaos Tag- Visible Image

Good morning! Christmas is edging closer by the hour and my thoughts are turning to wrapping gifts and making them a little bit personal , so todays project for Visible Image features a gift tag that I have created using the Christmas Chaos stamp set.

I am currently on a mission to use up some of the many mop up scraps and tags that I have, and so I began by stamping the tree outline onto an off cut that I had with Brusho powders on, and fussy cutting it. I also grabbed a tag that had previously had a wash of Spectrum Noir Sparkle pens on it.

To create the background I used second generation stamping in Versafine Clair ink, and added a row of trees. In the corner, using my stamping platform I first stamped and embossed the star in white, then off set it slightly and stamped over in black ink to add definition. I stamped a third time onto a scrap of card in yellow and fussy cut the star to mount in the centre.  To whiten the ground a little and  I added a wash of thinned gesso, and then splattered with fluid acrylic to create a snowy effect.

To finish, I stamped the border stamp across the base, and mounted the tree using 3D glue gel.

Have you been busy with festive creations? If so, and they use Visible Image stamps, why not pop across to the Facebook group and show us. The team would love to see!

This is my last post for Visble Image for this year, so I will take this opportunity to wish you all a very happy Christmas and a super crafty New Year.
